A quiet base for pilgrims and travellers

Narasinha Mehta Dham stands at Girnar Taleti, the base of Gujarat's highest mountain and about 5 km from the centre of Junagadh. It is named for Narsinh Mehta, the 15th-century poet-saint who made Junagadh his home and whose devotional songs are still sung across Gujarat.

Whether you are here for the Girnar climb, the ropeway, the Lili Parikrama or a family pilgrimage, you get a clean bed, a quiet night and an early start.

  • AC and non-AC rooms with comfortable double beds
  • A seven-bed dormitory hall for families and groups
  • Girnar views from the property
  • Close to the Girnar steps, Damodar Kund and the ropeway
About the Dham

The mountain you came for

Girnar has 9,999 stone steps and 866 Hindu and Jain temples spread across five summits. Most pilgrims set off in the dark so they can reach the upper shrines before the heat. The easiest way to do that is to sleep at the base.
